1982 and, in 1986, General Manager of their British Columbia operation- which became one of the company’s top agencies system wide. - When New York Life was acquired by Canada Life in
1994, became the Regional Officer for B.C. and

Paul Isaacson,CFP

Canada Financial is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Isaacson as Executive Vice President effective October 1, 2009.
In this role, Paul assumes overall responsibility for mergers and acquisitions of MGA's, AGA's & producer groups. His mandate is to grow the revenues, distribution and sales force of Canada Financial and to help develop the firm's long term business & marketing strategies.
Paul joins Canada Financial from Credential Financial & Ethical Funds Company. As Senior Vice President for Distribution & Sales for five years, he provided leadership to the sales group nationally for the MGA, MFDA, and IRROC divisions of the Company.
Prior to joining Credential Financial & Ethical Funds Company, Paul had a 20 year career with Sun Life Financial. During his time at Sun Life Financial Paul led three successful financial centres in Alberta and British Columbia. His early career includes a number of years as an Advisor and subsequently Sales Manager in Manitoba.
Paul is a Certified Financial Planner professional, Chartered Leadership Fellow and serves on the Board of Directors of the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada. He brings with him an extraordinary wealth of expertise in both life insurance & financial services. Paul is results oriented and passionate about developing leaders and promoting relationships.

Giovanni also has direct field experience in running a successful private financial planning practice.

As a Certified Financial Planner, Giovanni has always enjoyed contributing to the growth of our industry in the province. He has moderated the IFATC course curriculum for several years and has been serving as a Voting Member and Chairman of the BC Insurance Council.

Joann is a veteran of the insurance industry with a distinguished career spanning twenty years at Mutual Life, Clarica, & SunLife Financial. After graduating from the University of Ottawa with a Degree in Commerce, she moved out west and joined Mutual Life. As an advisor, Joann achieved numerous awards and recognition, including Regional Recruit of the Year and Diamond Club Producer.
Joann is a focused, highly energetic individual with determination, motivation and a strong desire for career and personal growth. Always looking for new challenges, Joann entered into management in 1993, becoming Branch Manager in 1995 providing leadership for over 50 advisors. During this period her achievements in management included, Winner of the Director Efficiency Trophy, National Management Awards, Agency Achievement Award and Agency Builder Award.
Joann has also been very active in the community, having served in various organizations, including: President of Richmond Chinese Community Society, Board of Director for Sunny Hill Foundation, Board of Director for MAIFA (currently CAIFA) and Fundraiser for BC Children's Hospital, St. Paul Foundation, and currently an executive board member with the SUCCESS Foundation.

group or one-on-one basis, and helping advisors
maximize their potential in the financial services industry.

- Assisted Surrey Metro Savings in setting up their
Financial Planning Department. Worked with BMO
Nesbitt Burns Financial Services as their Estate Planning
and Insurance Specialist. Director of Sales for

Fernando Marcial

Fernando earned his BSc Mechanical Engineering Degree at the Mapua instutute of technology Manila, Philippines.

He has been in the financial services industry since 1996 and has received many awards such as the Canada Life President Council Award, the Dick Penn Trophy, and the National Quality Award.

Frankie Lim

Born in Kuala Lumpur, Frankie attended university in the United States where he received a BA in 1988. Frankie started his entrepreneurial enterprises as a restaurant owner in Dallas Texas and then immigrated to Canada with his wife Frances, and soon to be born son, Travis in 2001. He entered the financial business in 2001 and joined CF in 2002.

As CF’s key independent Sales Director, Frankie has built a substantial team of advisors and continues to grow his business in a creative and effective manner.

Robert MacKenzie

- Began his career in Financial Services in 2001
- Was a Marketing Director at another Financial Services Company for 5 years before joining the CF team in June 2008
- Has been responsible for the training and development of field agents throughout his career
- Has extensive experience organizing and implementing seminars and events in the Financial Services Industry
- Has many years of experience dealing with clients to help them reach their financial goals
- Was the primary training coordinator at a branch office with over 100 field agents
- Has vast experience dealing with product partners of financial services
- Was a member of the RCMP for 15 years before starting his career in financial services
- Enjoys working with people and has many years dealing with individuals from all walks of life

Paul Ho

Paul started in the financial services industry as an investment advisor with TD Canada trust in 1995.

He now has over 13 years of experience educating advisors and investors about mutual funds, segregated funds, alternative investment funds, and flow-through shares.

Paul also specializes in tax saving strategies for Canadian business owners.

Hooman is a graduate of the Harvard Business School with over 30 years of experience in the financial service industry.

He started with New York Life in 1988 as an agent and became the top producer in the Vancouver Branch two years in a row. He became Sales Manager in 1990.

Hooman has been moderating industry related courses for the past 15 years.

Prior to joining Canada financial in 2004 he was the top life Regional Product Manager with London/ Great West Life.

Marianne Santos

Having been involved in the financial service industry for over 30 years. Marianne has worked in many key positions in various sectors of the industry in the Philippines and Canada.

Marianne joined the insurance business in 1995 working in the Canada Life career agency system. She then went on to become an independent broker in 1997.

Joining Canada financial in 2004 she has worked in many different areas of administration and has recently been appointed to the position of Manager of Administration.
